Young NAG

Dear young acoustician,

NAG strives to bring together young acousticians (students, PhD students, young professionals) in the Netherlands and Belgium in order to build a network and to exchange professional experiences.

We organize an annual event where participants can share a pitch about their work and gather together.

NAG sponsors activities (congress participation, financial contribution in research project, study trips,… ) in the general field of acoustics. Applicants are invited to contact Elke Deckers (elke.deckers@kuleuven.be) at least four months in advance.

NSG in cooperation with VVM and NAG awards the Gouden Decibel for the best thesis on acoustics in 5 categories. The competition is open to PhD, Msc, Bsc and HBO candidates graduating within the Netherlands and Belgium. The announcement wil be announced on this page in due time.

The EAA provides grants to participate in the Forum Acusticum conferences organized every three years. More information can be found on http://euracoustics.org.
